Adam Levine's Bizarre Ad

So, what the heck is wrong with Adam Levine and his crazy ad? Cognitive dissonance is the only possible explanation. Combining the words "not offensive" with images of women in bondage spanking each other in order to promote a fragrance that he says he personal oversaw all related activities just makes no sense. Don't get me wrong, I've definitely got nothing against anyone's lifestyle, but plenty of people do. Just what was he thinking?

 

Adam Levine’s new fragrance has been out since February 2013, but his new TV ad for the scent is raising eyebrows .

 

In the clip, the tattooed rocker starts by saying, “I typically hate celebrity fragrances. Now, it’s not that I hate celebrities or that I hate fragrance. It’s that when I see them, I don't necessarily believe that the people who are promoting them were particularly connected to what they were making.”

 

He goes on to talk about his influences and the clip cuts from him to images of motorcycles, wild horses, and random girls in bondage. Natch. (Read More)
