This is a cool move on the part of BMW; I have already gone through three GPS units due to me losing them, breaking them or having them stolen straight out of my (accidentally) unlocked car. By hard-installing the units into the vehicle, customers not only get GPS functionality but some peace of mind as well.
TomTom today announces a partnership with BMW to integrate its GO LIVE navigation devices in selected models of BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, X1 and X3 cars.
