When did you begin your career as an artist?

After having various jobs from truck driver to retail sales, on December 4, 1996 it was like I was struck by lightning and literally overnight had this ability to create the accelerator images.  I was completely amazed and had absolutely no idea where this came from or what was happening to me.

Did you always see art as your career path?

Oh no, not at all… I was too busy hanging out with my friends, having fun and living a typical California beach lifestyle.

Which artists have most influenced you?

There are a two in particular that I really admire, including the whimsical work of Walt Disney and the scientific drawings of DaVinci.  In addition, I draw a lot of my inspiration from films, musical genres (from classical to trance) and night time celestial events such as comets and meteor showers.

How would you describe your art work?

Magical, mysterious and intriguing.  People seem to be amazed by how different each piece is, there is no one particular style.  Some pieces trigger an emotional response with people as well.

Technically, they are hand drawn with Prismacolor pencils and metallic markers on 19” x 25” Canson drawing paper.   Occasionally, I use digital backgrounds and glow effects.

You call your work Transformative Art, how would you define that?

It genuinely is transformative art.  The accelerator images that I create have a unique and uncanny ability to transform people and effect profound changes in many areas of their lives, including inspirational creativity, relationships, finances and health matters.  I have so many testimonials from people over the last 18 years sharing their stories.  They are always so fun and inspiring to read.

What is the Language of Light?

The Language of Light is a universal symbol code language which some people call the language of the angels.  It does confound the mind a bit with some individuals, but it is a dramatic trigger and an important part of the accelerators in that it transcends language and cultural barriers around the planet.  I am able to draw 127 different versions of it.

How do you define Accelerator Art?

It’s an intuitive, spontaneous manifestation of a concept or an idea through symbology , creative design and color.

Where does your inspiration come from?

I touched on this a bit above, but also I receive inspiration from dreams, scientific discoveries, natural beauty and personal connections with interesting people.  And most importantly, I draw inspiration from the frequent mysterious occurrences and synchronicities in my life.

How has your art work changed over the years?

The varying styles continue to emerge in a prolific and steady stream of creative energy.  At this point I’ve drawn over 13,000 accelerator images, which, in a way, gives credibility to the amazing unseen world that surrounds us.

Where can people view your work?

Right now people can view and purchase my current collection at http://www.bryansmagicart.com.
