Careyes is an upscale resort on the Pacific Ocean.  There is a small hotel but mostly houses many that can be rented.  Go to Careyes.com and click on Rentals.  The largest are called castles.  There are two polo fields but almost no shopping.  It is a wonderful place but you might need to bring your own party.
