As Karl Lagerfeld reinvents CHANEL fashion each season with new silhouettes, colors and materials, the new CHANEL boutique will surprise clients at the Bellagio Hotel. Inspired by the ultra glamour and luxury of Las Vegas, CHANEL once again enlisted famed architect and long- time CHANEL collaborator Peter Marino. Mr. Marino is renowned for his ability to reinterpret a storied heritage with perpetual and evolving virtuosity.

We are honored to unveil the redesigned Boutique at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.  We hope the exciting new space, where each detail is custom created especially for the glamorous Bellagio, will thrill loyal CHANEL clients while giving new visitors the ultimate CHANEL experience in Las Vegas”.


Upon entering the 6000 square foot boutique, clients will first encounter a new accessories area with kinon ceiling. The space will feature a hand painted gold finish on the walls and custom designed woven fabrics reminiscent of the famed CHANEL tweeds. New to the Bellagio is a floor to ceiling feature wall, masked in a gold netting fabric and ribbon bands, which will offer clients a new way to view CHANEL’s accessories: handbags, small leather goods, sunglasses and Fragrance and Beauty products merchandised together to tell the story of the latest collection.

Beyond the world of accessories, clients will move into the Ultra Luxe room featuring CHANEL’s most exclusive products including handbags created from exotic materials, the most exceptional evening pieces and Fine Jewelry and Watches. The Ultra Luxe room, with its textural hand painted wallpaper and custom designed panels will showcase the latest collection of iconic J12 and Premiere watches in addition to rare pieces of fine jewelry.

A video screen beyond the Ultra Luxe section will project the current runway collection while introducing clients to the revamped Ready-to-Wear section. Lending a feeling of air and space, the RTW glass walls, which will display the latest Ready-to-Wear offerings, will be lined with feminine white silk fabric.

Continuing  CHANEL’s  tradition  of  commissioning  specialty  artwork  for  boutiques,  the  first Ready-to-Wear room will feature two unique sculptures: Pae White’s X and Federico Uribe’s, ‘Seascape’; the second Ready-to-Wear room will display Federico Uribe’s sculpture, ‘Kiss’. With art  playing an integral  role  in CHANEL's history, CHANEL  is  pleased to  support  artists with original works commissioned specially for its Boutiques.


In celebration of the reopening, the redesigned boutique will also offer unique pieces created exclusively for the Bellagio. Five special handbags, inspired by the splendor of Las Vegas and bearing the signature “CHANEL exclusive Edition for Las Vegas”, will debut in the Las Vegas boutique. A special Las Vegas take on the iconic CHANEL classic bag with flap will be featured in two sizes – small and large – and two unique colors – bright pink and baby blue. These four luxurious handbags will feature the archetypal CHANEL turn lock and goatskin embroidery with bi-color crystal strass detail. The intertwined archetypical leather and silver chain will also be offered in the special Las Vegas metallic colors. The fifth unique handbag is undoubtedly Las Vegas: a small, soft calfskin classic bag with a gold CHANEL turn lock and a gold interwoven chain featuring 14 assorted sized crystal strass and gold dice with CHANEL iconic charms.

Peter  Philips,  Creative  Director  of  CHANEL  Makeup,  has  also  created  a  makeup  collection inspired by the vibrant colors and luxury of Las Vegas. The exclusive collection features Rouge Coco Shine in Brilliant, Precision Lip Definer in Vegas Gold, Le Vernis in Gold Fingers and a very exclusive creation, a face highlighter palette in Lucky Stripes.

The world of CHANEL at the Bellagio will be open to the public on January 23, 2012.
