Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim is one of the most anticipated fashion events in the world. Celebrities, designers, fashionistas and jetsetters landed in Haute Miami to be part of this international showcase of swimwear, supermodels and luxury cars.
However, in a sea filled with bikinis and cover-ups, there was an uber private, VIP only event that had no rival: TheChloéSpring 2013 Resort Runway Show. Held at the exclusive, members-only, Soho Beach House in Miami Beach, this display of resort wear, swimwearand accessories, left every attendee speechless.
The runway pieces were a mixed between the structured and the loose-fitting. The selections included an array of flowy dresses, uncomplicated sweaters, short suits, a bold-cut structured blouse, and silk floor-length skirts that closed the show in a fantastic way. The beauty style of the show was sultry eyes and sun-kissed cheeks, surrounded by sexy hair, which was reminiscent of the beach waves.
The signature stamps were embedded in each piece. A neutral palette, with a few pops of orange and coral, beautiful silk fabrics, and the extremely feminine cuts the line is known for. The finishing touches for the looks were modern wooden clogs and sandals, as well as leather clutches and handbags that added a classic and sophisticated vibe to the collection.
