Do you think one should wear nice attire for a flight (instead of sweatpants, etc)? Why?

Yes. Let's bring travel back to the sophistication it used to be.

I think that you should always look your best no matter where your at. First Impression speaks volumes.

I'm not sure why, but I always get wierdly excited about planning my outfit to travel in when I'm going on holiday. I like to where a favourite item of clothing like a new jumper or dress, because I think it's a nice start to the holiday- as long as whatever I'm wearing is comfy too.

You know it all depends. If my flight is on a weekday, I'm usually dressed in business casual. That means a pair of pressed slacks, blazer and a nice pair of slip-ons or a low heel pump. Now, if I'm flying out during the weekend especially early in the morning or late at night the sweatpants (although very nice) do come out.

Yes, because I am 69 years old and when I first started flying that was the thing to do. It is hard for me to do otherwise, much like wearing white after Labor Day, as it was how I was raised.
