Fall cleanup. No one likes to do it but it has to get done.
The yard needs to be raked; the hedges need to be trimmed and let’s not forget about winterizing the grass.
While we aren’t volunteering to come over and help out with your yard work, we will let you in on a little secret that will make your fall yard work a breeze.
Meet Stihl’s HS 56 C-E hedge trimmer. This powerful will have you breezing through your hedges in a third of the time it used to take you to hand prune. We love the unit’s long 24” cutting blade, which was surprisingly lightweight yet extraordinarily powerful, especially when pruning those hard-to-reach areas.
We all know some hedge trimmers can be intimidating with their tense pull starts but the Easy2Start technology got us going quickly and easily by simply pulling a cord.
The multi-function control handle is one of Stihl’s best features. With it, you can turn it on or off without your hand having to leave the handle. Is it as powerful as it looks? Absolutely, but don’t be intimidated by it. The anti-vibration system seemed to keep the movement to a minimum while the low emission fuel efficient engine kept us breathing easier.
When you are finished using this gardening tool, be sure to cover it up with the blade tip guard to protect the blades. Use the built-in hanger for storing the unit in the shed.
Fall cleanup never felt so good.
