The French luxury label, Celine has quite a reputation in the industry for being an elite brand. This step-up in the high-fashion world is mostly due to the creative genius of Phoebe Philo who took over for creative director four years ago. But this year… we aren’t sure if Celine missed a step.Pun intended.

Celine’s 2013 foot wear collection is far removed from their typical lines. And I mean verrry far removed. Debuting down the runway were furry stilettos; not velvet, suede, embezzled, they have actual feathery fur. The models could have flown off stage and my first thought was reminiscent of my childhood days watching Big Bird on Sesame Street.
