However, no charges will be filed since the police found he was acting in self-defense for both his wife and himself. Apparently the homeless man assaulted Gene's wife and called her a foul name. I don't condone physical violence, but way to stand up for your spouse, Gene! Gives me hope chivalry isn't entirely dead.
