Global Fashion Director for Harper's Bazaar Debuts Soon

Harper's Bazaar

It feels like the wait has been forever, but right around the corner Harper's Bazaar magazine will finally debut Carine Roitfeld's fashion editorials globally. The move is unprecedented because every market is so different from each other, but if anyone can put something together with universal fashion appeal, it's Roitfeld.

French stylist and magazine editor Carine Roitfeld was announced as Harper's Bazaar's first ever global fashion director in October last year, and now the fruits of her labour are being revealed simultaneously across 26 global March editions of the glossy magazine.

A 16-page spread entitled 'Carine on the Collections' sees the ex Vogue Paris editor offer her creative take on the spring/summer collections using looks by big brands Chanel, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana alongside those by emerging London Fashion Week talents Christopher Kane and J.W. Anderson. Her vision will be circulated to more than 11.3 million Bazaar readers across 44 countries. Read More
