Having delicious and fun refreshments is one of the most important aspects of any party. Strawberry Daiquiris

Every backyard party needs to have strawberry daiquiris, especially during the heat of the summer. Your guests will love the fact that they can go and fill their cups with this cool drink, and the machines hold enough to last all night.

Sparkling Pomegranate Punch

Every party needs a punch bowl and by using the favourite flavour of the season, you will really please the party guests with this delicious drink. In a large punch bowl, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1 cup of pomegranate juice. Stir vigorously to dissolve the sugar. Add 1.5 litres of chilled sparkling wine, 3/4 cup of late-harvest white wine, 2 thinly sliced oranges, 1 cup of diced pineapple, and 1/4 cup of pomegranate seeds. Serve the punch over ice. 

Shandy Gaff

Although most beer lovers tend to enjoy their beverage ‘as-is’, it is still fun to play around with beer flavours, and the shandy gaff is might be a pleasant surprise for even the most loyal of beer drinkers. Fill a pint glass a little more than halfway with chilled pale ale and slowly top it off with ginger beer to make one superbly delicious and refreshing shandy. 

Champagne Cobbler

There are heaps of great ways to enjoy the sparkling taste of champagne and a champagne cobbler is just the right thing for a fancy party on a hot day. Start by muddling a slice of orange, a lemon wedge and a skinless pineapple wedge in the bottom of a bar glass with a 3/4-ounce shot of maraschino liqueur. Add ice and 4 ounces of champagne, stir gently, and strain into a champagne flute. Garnish with flamed orange peel. 

Baileys Espresso Martini

For a smooth, creamy and rich cocktail to enjoy after dinner, try out this excellent espresso martini recipe. First, add together 2 ounces of Baileys Irish Cream, 1/4 ounce of vodka, and 2 ounces of cold espresso. Shake all the ingredients together, pour into a martini glass and garnish with a cherry. 

Watermelon Agua Fresca

Every good party should have a delicious non-alcoholic drink option, and the watermelon agua fresca is just the thing to refresh partygoers on the warmest summer days. To make a tasty batch of this fruity drink, puree 8 cups of cubed watermelon, 1 cup of water and 1/3 cup of sugar, and pour through a course strainer into a large container. Stir in 1/4 cup of fresh lime juice and refrigerate for about four hours. Once you are ready to serve it, stir in a cup of club soda or seltzer and garnish with lime.
