“This year’s theme for International Women’s Day, “A promise is a promise: Time for action to end violence against women” seeks to strengthen international community’s commitment to put an end to violence against women” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Ambassador of International Human Rights Organization on the celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8th.

“ As part of the effort the UN leads to fight violence against women, Secretary-Generals Ban Ki-moon’s UNiTE campaign calls on all governments, civil society, women’s organizations, men, young people, the private sector, the media and the entire UN system to join forces in addressing this global pandemic” informed Kiran Mehra Director United Nation Information Centre for India & Bhutan.

Joy Shree Arora a film & TV Artist, Anjulata City Megistrate Greater Noida, Shamina Shafiq Member the National Commission of Women Government of India, Nemi Singh Premi Chairperson IHRO also spoke on the occasion. 30 Social workers of the city were also honored during the show.
