Kickstarter Continues To Help Burgeoning Designers

Starting a business of one's own can be a stressful and difficult task, especially if said person is a student. However, that hasn't stopped Evan Michael Sullivan from doing what he loves, fashion designing, while he attends school at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and he received a major boost from Kickstarter to get his dream underway.


With the help of social media, one Kennebunk native is taking his fashion designs from conception to the runway.

Evan Michael Sullivan, a former Kennebunk resident who is now studying at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, turned to the popular fundraising website Kickstarter to help bring his line of "unique and interesting pieces" to Fashion Week 2013.

His line is known as Evan Michael Industry and the ambitious fashion designer is known as Evan Michael in the fashion world.
