In addition to financial contribution, every year a part of the proceeds from the Special Edition "Hommage ? Max Reinhardt" is intended for young designers and their assemblies that have become popular among visitors to the Salzburg Festival."
The panel of judges includes prominent names of the Festival Salzburg will choose the winner of the Montblanc Young Directors Award 2011. This year the competition takes place from July 27 to August 30.
Montblanc Special Edition "Hommage ? Max Reinhardt 2011"
The design for Max Reinhardt's "Faust''served as an inspiration for the design of this fascinating writing instrument. The body is made of stone tiger-eye, adorned with filigree depicting scenes Goethe classic. In the Middle Ages, the tiger-eye was very popular for making protective amulets against evil eye, demons and spells.
The silhouette of the fortress of Hohensalzburg is recorded in penalty of 18 k gold hand made. The cover of this gem of writing is solid gold 750 decorated with inlaid lacquer. The star shines at the top of the Montblanc pen, made of nacre. Each copy of this exclusive edition is packaged in a luxurious package.
The Special Edition "Hommage ? Max Reinhardt" is limited to only 20 pieces worldwide and is available exclusively during the Salzburg Festival (July 27 to August 30, 2011) at the Boutique Montblanc Salzburg (Alter Markt 1).
