Now that Easter is over this is the perfect time to get back into shape. The perfect way for the entire family to get fit now the sun is out and the Easter chocolate has finally been finished.

People who want to enjoy a last minute adventure holiday in the UK will find that there are numerous locations that offer visitors fun and physical activities. Cycling through the Lake District is also an excellent way to explore this stunning part of England at your own pace and there are sure to be plenty of places to stop along the way to soak up the scenery. 

Those who want to enjoy the sun and sand in Cyprus will find that this impressive destination also offers a wide range of adventure activities. Of course, taking part in water sports such as swimming, scuba diving and snorkelling is a great way to get fit outdoors while having fun in this beautiful part of the world.

For long-haul travellers, the northern part of Thailand is known for its enchanting natural beauty. In addition to dense jungle full of wildlife and scattered with waterfalls and mountains, the north of the country is also home to a number of native hill tribes living in villages removed from modern technologies. Special trekking tours offer visitors the chance to visit some of these hill tribes and learn about their unique way of life. Treks usually last for a minimum of three days and can be quite challenging at times but also include exciting features such as the chance to ride an elephant through the jungle and gliding along the river on a bamboo raft. 

The kids are sure to love playing in the large children's adventure ground that can be found on Sentosa Island. This is one of the most exciting places to visit in Singapore as the entire island is dedicated to having fun. The many rides and attractions that can be found here are sure to appeal to visitors of all ages. Following the specially created nature trail through one large section of the island is a great way to get some exercise, while travellers who are dedicated to getting fit on holiday can hire bicycles and cycle between various entertainment zones on the island rather than taking the shuttle bus or sky rail.
