The 43-year-old songstress pre-taped a segment in New York on Thursday for an upcoming NBC special, Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular.

Though the show - hosted by husband Nick Cannon - is set to air at 8pm EST, the pop star got to work a bit early in Liberty State Park.
