Yes, you read that right, Restaurant Week is coming to Santa Barbara! This two-week long event is being organized by Santa Barbara Uncorked and sponsored by Jordano’s and the Pacific Beverage Company. Santa Barbara Restaurant Week will take place February 23rd through March 4th, 2018 and will include $25, $35 and $45 prix fixe menus at featured restaurants.

So how does it work? Guests are invited to make a reservation at participating restaurants during Restaurant Week, and in turn, will pay a discounted rate for a three-course menu. All participating restaurants together with their menus will be featured on the event site. With an abundant amount of restaurants to choose from in Santa Barbara, the possibilities are endless for exceptional dining experiences, from prime steak to fresh local seafood, from classic American fare to international cuisine.

The team behind Santa Barbara Restaurant Week comprises of four local women who together have 100 years experience in the restaurant, hospitality and service industries. Leslee Garafalo and Hope Zweig are the brainchildren behind the event and are spearheading the project. They are joined by two local marketing experts: Emily Solomon, Founder of The Food Marketer and Leigh-Anne Anderson, Founder of Anderson PR, both of whom will be sharing this first annual event with the community.

“We are so excited to be launching the first annual Santa Barbara Restaurant Week, which is long overdue with all the culinary talent at our fingertips,” states Garafalo. “This is an opportunity for our restaurant community to come together and showcase their establishments by offering an accessible dining experience for both Santa Barbara and surrounding communities.”

Santa Barbara’s prime location ensures restaurants are working with only the freshest ingredients from produce to seafood. The culinary scene paired with the breathtaking landscape that envelops Santa Barbra sets it apart from any other city in the world. Nicknamed the American Riviera, the warm Mediterranean climate, acclaimed Spanish architecture and perfect placement on the shoreline creates the ideal dining destination.

In addition to restaurants featuring their signature dishes and local chef talent, wineries will provide special pricing and a unique food pairing experience. Hotels are also offering special values for accommodations during the week.

Santa Barbara Restaurant Week menus exclude tax, tip, or beverages, and reservations are highly recommended.
