At age 22, young entrepreneur Eli Aizenstat was struck by a bolt of inspiration that sent him along a path of innovation to forever change mobile messaging through the power of music. He created Beatshare, an ingenious app that brings music into the heart of communication. Still, in 2015 the project was in its infancy until Aizenstat formed a bond with trusted mentor and tech executive Barry Lieberman, a key player and partner in nurturing Beatshare from being Aizenstat’s brainchild to its status as a fully-developed business sensation.

Sheer determination led Aizenstat to follow his dream and take full advantage of the access he had to advisors at Chapman University. Lieberman, a tech marketing success in his 35-year career, met the inspired student as a board member at Chapman’s Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship. In his professional career, Lieberman had seen tech companies flourish and helped to steer Aizenstat’s pioneering concept along that very same trajectory. They used resources available at the school’s Launchlab Accelerator Program to advance Beatshare into a business plan, which caught fire.

When put to paper, the idea to create an app that allows users to pair an endless catalogue of music with photos and videos was irresistible. Aizenstat’s business plan won his university’s competition, which allowed him to enter the California Dreamin’ National Business Plan Competition. He took 2nd place out of over 1,000 entrants from 27 universities.

Lieberman, by then, had become Executive Advisor to Aizenstat, and through encouragement and applied experience saw the vision of his apprentice entrepreneur come to fruition. The partnership has shaped the success of Beatshare, which launched its patent pending user interface and metadata sharing system to ferocious fanfare.

Users deepen the meaning of their personalized messages by harnessing the inherent language and mood of music. The best part is that the power of the new messaging tool is accessible through iMessage and other platforms that are already so familiar. Simply snap a photo or record a video and through Beatshare’s easy-to-use technology lay a 10-second music clip over it. Sending the newly created beat to a friend, family member or tight group of contacts leaves an instant and lasting impression and captures moments like never before.

The partnership of these two pioneers, Millennial and mentor, remains strong. Lieberman is President and COO of Beatshare, Inc., alongside Aizenstat, the now 24-year-old CEO. They’ve watched the rise of emoji’s, stickers, bitmoji, and gifs, a forever evolving menu of messaging tools, and are positioned to bring music to the forefront of the way we communicate.

Catalogues available through Apple Music, SoundCloud and Spotify are integrated to deliver quick access to any song and add a new dimension to mobile communications via carefully selected samples.

In a poetic turn of events, Aizenstat has gone full circle. He is currently a lead mentor and member of the Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship. In two quick years, he has witnessed the strength of mentorship and become a believer, proving every young entrepreneur needs a mentor!

Now you can join the Beatshare movement @AppBeatshare and download the app for free from the IOS App Store or the new iMessage App Store.
