Although the popularity of Obsidian Entertainment’s Kickstarter page for their upcoming game Project Eternity is already getting rather close to its goal of 1.1 million dollars, I don’t know if I agree with the people who have pledged money considering Obsidian Entertainment is already a fairly large and successful video game company. Kickstarter should be for those who actually need funds to get their ideas off the ground. What do you think?

The folks at Obsidian Entertainment announced Friday that they are trying to raise $1.1 million in funding for "Project Eternity." News of the Kickstarter launch spread quickly (and enthusiastically) across Twitter throughout the day and, within hours, they had already raised almost $400,000 in funding from more than 9,000 donors.
