What on Earth would inform eBay's Johnny Ho that any woman who was prepared to pay the full retail price for any expensive, branded, "designer" item, would pass up the opportunity to "be seen" buying that item in a fashionable designer B&M retail outlet and, instead, anonymously buy that same item (at the full retail price) on his clunky, atrophying marketplace?
Johnny Ho, the likes of Kim Kardashian may "sell" (to put it figuratively) on eBay; I doubt they ever buy on eBay, for you cannot "be seen" buying, on eBay …
Dream on Johnny Ho …
The fact is the eBay Marketplace has been moribund for the past five years since the headless turkey from Bain & Co got hold of the helm.
Now that Visa's online digital wallet, V.me, is being beta tested (see buy.com), with MasterCard's offering soon to follow, the PreyPal has little future outside of its effectively mandated place on the atrophying eBay Marketplace, for even another year, I suspect.
Indeed, I doubt that anything can now save these two most despised entities, eBafia and PreyPal, from the destruction that has been wrought upon them by the headless turkey from Bain & Co, John Edward Donahoe ?
And to think that five years ago the stock prices of both eBay and Amazon were ~$40.
