As we reported, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Biel’s Total Recall tour red carpet looks have been the talk of the rags as of late. And their style selections as well as other red carpet events recently prove there are clear trends in fashion and other styles about to head out the door.
Let’s take a look at what’s in and what’s out on the red carpet trends:
In: Sculptural dresses: These gowns define Hollywood glamour in 2012. Beckinsale wowed in a Donna Karan gown with modern graphics, bringing the old-hollywood into the 21st century. These dresses also took over the Do Something Awards, flattering curves and adding to the glam of the night.
In : Boots with dresses: We don’t mean short skirts, sorority style. But like Nicole Scherzinger proved sexy in Nikki Rich leather frock and lace-up boots. Very funky, and stylish.
Out: Heavy jewelry: Statement necklaces have always dressed up a gown or dress on the red carpet, but as of late we are seeing stars go minimalistic. And we notice when they don’t. Jessica Biel has been looking awesome these days, but her Christian Dior dress could have been less cluttered if she chose to adorn herself with more delicate jewels.
