It’s almost fall, which means it’s full-on stogie time.
Who are we kidding? It doesn’t matter the time of year for a good cigar but we are going to let you in on one of our favorites, the A. Turrent Triple Play.
The cigar comes in five different sizes – This cigar is available in 5 sizes, Gran Toro (6 x 60), Short Belicoso (4 x 60), Belicoso (6 1/8 x 54), Toro (6 x 54) and a Robusto (4 1/2 x 50).
The A. Turrent Puro Maduro is comprised of hand-selected maduro tobaccos. Created by fifth-generation cigar maker Alejandro Turrent, along with the master blenders of La Flor de Copan cigar factory in Honduras, the medium- to full-bodied Triple Play has an ultra-premium San Andrés Morrón wrapper, a blackened Connecticut Broadleaf binder and long fillers from Nicaragua, San Andrés and Honduras.
We love the light scent of chocolate on the wrapper, which stays once the cigar is lit, finishing with a woodsy medium body flavor. The cigar starts off mild at first draw but then there is a nice lingering flavor of coffee and chocolate, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
