Start Healing with The Brobe

The Brobe

While October was breast cancer awareness month, we all know cancer knows no boundaries.

If you or someone you love is undergoing treatment for breast cancer, be sure to check out the Recovery Brobe- a luxurious robe with an attached bra, designed for women who have undergone a mastectomy or have had breast reconstructive surgery.

The award winning robe has pockets inside to hold post-op drains, and pockets built in the bra to hold ice packs during the healing process. This lightweight, soft loungewear has ¾ sleeves and has a comfortable fit just above the knee. The bra that is made out of 90 percent cotton, five percent lycra and five percent jersey. The robe is made out of 93% Nylon and 7% Spandex. It has pockets that are built in the bra that could hold a prosthetic breast(s) or ice packs. The robe has pockets in the inside of the robe to hold the fluid for drainage but can also support the weight of the fluid from the drains.

Even better is that 10 percent of the sales from the purchase of the robe are donated to breast cancer research. Allison Schickel created The Brobe to provide women the dignity they so deserve during such a difficult and traumatic time.

This robe retails for $139.99 and is available in red or navy, sizes small through extra-large. For more information, visit www.thebrobe.com.
