After a brief hiatus, the designer previously known as theSeventh Avenue as the King of Pants is going for a second reign in the trendy trousers fashion scene. The designer is famously known for his knack of making any silhouette look flawless in his tailored pants and have caught the attention of A-list clientele like Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz.
The Times caught up with one client who raves about Valley’s pants: “They just had a nice cut,” Alexandra Von Furstenberg said. “They hugged you so that you felt sexy enough, but not too showy.”
His business went under after he over-expanded his offerings to a lower cost athletic line and also lost is namesake in the process. But it seems customers are confident that his new 36 piece line is sure to be a hit again.
“He understands construction and a woman’s body,” stylist Amanda Ross said. “After that, all you need is a needle and thread.”
With the keen attention to detail of the feminine line we suspect Valley’s new collection will go over well with his loyal ladies and newbies alike.
