Top 3 Fashion Moments at the Closing Ceremony

ABCNews.com

The conclusion of the Olympics means goodbye Kate Middleton sporty gear, farewell to Ryan Lochte abs and a sign-off of all the fashion trends, risks and head-turners we have spotted throughout London at the international Games. So we need to do a final recap of the top 3 fashion moments of the Closing Ceremony.

Number 1: Kate Moss. Wow. That word simply says it all as she had all-eyes-on-her in a stunning Alexander McQueen gown. She is one of Brittan’s most recognized celebrities and a one of the biggest fashion icons today. She looked like a 60s supermodel draped in liquid gold.

Number 2:  David Bowie and the Walk of Fashion Icons. Nick Knight shot billboards of British supermodels adorned with golden British designers and then they came to life with a larger-than-life supermodel strut down the catwalk to no other than Bowie’s “fashion.” Here is a rundown of the model lineup and the designers they wore: Lily Cole (Erdem), Stella Tennant (Christopher Kane), Karen Elson (Burberry), Kate Moss (McQueen), Lily Donaldson (Vivienne Westwood), Naomi Campbell (McQueen), Georgia May Jagger (Victoria Beckham), Jourdan Dunn (Jonathan Saunders and Stephen Jones), David Gandy (Paul Smith). Are you drooling?

Number 3:  Victoria Beckham and that dress.  Mrs. Beckham has been making headlines everywhere from her fashion editing with Glamour, a new clothing line and her appearance with the Spice Girls also during the Closing Ceremony. But it was her GileBeacon gown and the candid pictures she shot behind the scenes that stole the show in the arena and all over social media. The black strapless number could not have been any shorter on Beckham’s tiny framed and she pulled it off to be simply gorgeous. The gown also had a long train, making her the royal fashion goddess of the evening.
