Okay, maybe voicemail never really was an art form, but that doesn’t change the fact that people are becoming less and less likely to leave a voice mail. Why should they if they can just hang up the phone and send a text message that will be much more likely to be seen and replied to quicker?
Whenever cultural behavior changes, we cast a wistful eye or simply don't notice.
So today's question is: Do you bother to leave voice mails any more? And when people leave them on your phone, do you bother listening to the message, or do you just see who called and then call them back?
