Good question. Ailyn, I dare to disagree - luxury can be used daily, if you sustain that way of life. Premium - good quality without advertising poshness. Maybe sometimes Luxury can be worse in quality, but exeptional because of its rareness or advertising, but Premium is perceived all-time exeptional quality.But that`s what Luxury means too... So, great question, indeed =]

It has to do with the usefulness of the good. If the good is for utilitarian purposes such as denim then it is considered premium. Luxury is beyond daily use. It's for those special occasions.
