what if it's a bed and breakfast? when you travel shouldn't you be trying to immerse yourself and learn a little bit about your destination and the language?

Yes, definately. English is Lingua Franca and hoteliers should respect that. Anyway, it`s teir problem not mine - next time I won`t step my feet there and inform my friends.
