In some of the latest Fashion News, luxury house Jimmy Choo named Pierre Denis to post chief executive officer on Monday in a continued effort to expand the brand’s presence in Asia. Reinhard Mieck, CEO of Jimmy Choo’s parent, Labelux, told WWD that the brand is indeed underrepresented in China and that it is a key priority of the brand to try to make inroads there. Denis, who was most recently the managing director of John Galliano SA, will be filling the position that was left by Joshua Schulman earlier, who joined the team at Bergdorf Goodman. In the past, Denis has also worked with brands like Christian Dior, Guerlain, and Givenchy.
