It’s pretty obvious that we’re obsessed with Cara Delevingne here at JustLuxe—not that we can actually pronounce her name correctly—or even spell it right on the first try. But thankfully, we’re not totally alone. At the Met Gala on Monday, Instagram video caught Kate Upton, Zooey Deschanel and Reese Witherspoon in an elevator with the British model as they repeatedly tripped over her name. Kar-ah? Care-ah? Throwing out odd pronunciations left and right, then just mumbling a slew of nonsense, it seems these celebs were having fun trying to guess the correct way to say their friend’s name. Even Upton announces, "we don't know!" Witherspoon seemed particularly bad at it even while claiming “I love you Cara…Kar-ah? That’s super French, Delevingne.” Well whatever you prefer to call her (it’s pronounced Kar-ah by the way) there’s no denying she’s one of the biggest supermodels in fashion right now—even if no one can actually pronounce her name.
