Ralph Lauren Launches Black Label Denim for Men

Ralph Lauren has just launched Black Label Denim, a new premium denim range for men under its Black Label brand. The collection features luxe, ultramodern denim for men in deep monochromatic hues with an industrial sensibility, tailored fits and signature accents. Classic pieces such as peacoats, shirts and trenches have been reinvented in the finest fabrics with a modern twist.

Denim pants range from sharp skinny fits and classic straight legs to motocrosss-style jeans and cargos, with a focus on highly detailed washes, innovative treatments and custom details. The collection also features jersey knits, leather shirts and jackets in denim-blue, and cashmere sweaters. Washes and treatments include waxy coatings, authentic whiskering and abrasions, oven bake processes, nicking, pigment staining and over-dyeing.

The denim collection will retail between $225–$450 for jeans, with T-shirts and shirts from $80–$350 and outerwear from $395–$1295. The designer has been pretty busy lately; he also just launched a hip new men’s, women’s and accessories brand called Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren, capturing the weathered character of vintage inspired pieces with a rustic charm.
