There is something to be said about slipping into an Italian-made piece of luxury clothing and stepping out to take on the world. In a time where virtually everything is mass-produced and individuality is about as common as a mullet, it’s always a pleasant surprise when we come across a brand like Aglini that truly values a unique and well-made luxury garment.

This relatively new brand of exquisite Italian shirting is the brainchild of a father and son duo, and is now launching its eclectic Spring/Summer 2013 collection in the U.S. market. The Aglini collection ranges from delicate women’s blouses, tunics, and dresses to well-crafted men’s button-up shirts. Alongside this family collaboration, a team of young cooperators, technicians and designers are also there to promote the growth of ideas and brand originality. Aglini Spring/Summer 2013 Collection
With each shirt, you are sure to experience the highest level of comfort and quality without forgoing fit and design details (a stylistic quality that Italians are particularly known for.) Each garment effortlessly oozes the essence of chic Italian style with a seamless combination of delicate yet detailed prints, Liberty textiles, and those from Italian mills.

Aglini also utilizes lace, sequins, leather, coated gros grain, mother of pearl buttons, Swarovski crystals and pearls, and enamel and metals to add spice to shirt trims. Prints consist of solids, stripes and patterns on a wide range of fabrics (offered in various weights) including stretch or non-stretch, cotton oxford, pinpoint, embroidered cotton, cotton-linen blends, 100% linen, and beautifully washed leather. Aglini continually impresses the fashion-obsessed world, providing a unique tailor-made experience for its clients with any custom combination imaginable. The Aglini team also produces a wide selection of collars and cuffs with delicately embroidered details, fur trim, sequins or simple buttons for customization. Each season provides us with inspired new looks with fabrics, trims and buttons that evolve with each market and region.

This past September, Aglini made their U.S. debut at Coterie in New York City, and the orders from specialty boutiques and high-end retailers have already been pouring in. Retail prices for these stunning pieces range from $225-$295 for core blouses and shirts and $250-$395 for tunics and dresses, with specialty fabrics found at $495.
