Blumarine Abstract Flower Collection Brings Back Classic Black and White

Fall doesn’t seem like the right time for flowers to bloom, but for Blumarine, their abstract flower collection had perfect timing. Designer Anna Molinari presented the Blumarine Abstract Flower capsule collection earlier this month in Milan to great applause. Amid the contemporary cuts and modern pastels of the Fall/Winter 2013/14 collection, the new pieces feature vintage shapes and classic lines reminiscent of 50’s housecoats and dresses. The black and white print pieces are detailed with lace overlay and fur trim. With a classic color pattern they can transition easily between day and night and allow any color to be styled with them. The special collection consists of day coats, dresses, sweaters, silk scarves and more pieces may debut along the way. The collection is available this month in Blumarine locations worldwide.
