Dolce & Gabbana Takes Fashion to Spain With Flamenco Dancing and Bullfighters

‘Tis the season for spring fashion ads. The latest campaign to surface comes from Dolce & Gabbana and plays on the drama of the Spanish-inspired Spring 2015 runway show. While their campaigns never fail to tell a narrative, this story seems to be one of the best, as the images and accompanying video see runway models posing with actual Spanish bullfighter José Maria Manzanares and a gaggle of grandmothers. Bringing the Spanish culture to life through bold colors, dance and music, the campaign feels alive and offers a sense of beauty and energy through the photos.

Staring models Bianca Balti, Vittoria Ceretti, Irina Sharipova and Blanca Padilla, the campaign was shot by Domenico Dolce and sees all models (grandmas included) wearing pieces from the Spring 2015 line. Showcasing handbags, lingerie, ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories, the campaign shows women clutching opulently decorated handbags, swaying in fitted bustiers and waving their lacy fans as they dance to the sound of the Spanish guitar. Accessorized in dripping gold jewelry, blood-red carnations and a bold red lipstick, the models whisk you away to a place of beauty where flamenco dancing and bullfighting are a part of everyday life.
