Jason Wu has had a busy week. The designer got married this weekend in Tulum to his longtime partner, Gustavo Rangel, but it looks like the happy couple skipped the honeymoon. As soon as the nuptials were over he was back in NYC to release news of his upcoming venture. Tuesday morning, Wu posted a photo on Instagram revealing the name of his new line: Grey Jason Wu. “Introducing #GREYJasonWu a new sister label I've created that has been under wraps for the last 12 months. Very excited to finally share it with everyone-more to come soon!” he captioned to his over 314,000 followers.

A partner line to his current eponymous collection, Grey Jason Wu will launch for the Spring 2016 season and will include dresses, pants and tops that are more casual and universal than his current collections. "As the Jason Wu collection evolved over the last few years, I felt that there was room for a sister collection that very much addressed the needs of women who look for a beautiful, season-less wardrobe that is neither too edgy or sweet," the designer shared. "There is a sense of relaxed sophistication with thoughtful details that is the basis for Grey Jason Wu."

The new label—which already has its own Instagram handle and hashtag—was inspired by Wu’s personal friends and his desire to dress them in a way that blended his aesthetic and their personal style. He also noted that Grey Jason Wu would be a medium where he would collaborate with other brands, artists and designers. His first collection will be designed with Hunt Slonem, an artist who's known for his paintings of animals like bunnies, tropical birds and cats. The line is expected to be priced from $295 to $1,395.
