As a stylist in demand with A-List celebrity clientele that includes the likes of Tyra Banks, Julianne Moore, Beyonce, Heidi Klum, and more, he lost track on how to take care of himself properly. His dedication toward his occupation led to him not making his own appearance a top priority. Like so many of us do over the years, Mr. Brewster had put on a few extra pounds.
"As a stylist, it?s my job to make other people look good. I never really looked at myself that way. I was always too busy. This is not an excuse; it was just my reality. I see things differently now," said Kithe Brewster, celebrity stylist extraordinaire who also lost more than 100 pounds since following the Duke Diet plan.
Kithe conveyed to us that he was in Miami when he first felt the toil from carrying around the extra weight. The experience changed him forever. It was the first time that his hectic lifestyle had actually led to him experiencing a physical break down.
"When I was styling the runway shows for Miami Fashion Week, I fainted. This really alarmed me, and I knew...then and there...that I had to make a change in my life," said Kithe. After undergoing an extensive physical exam, Kithe discovered that his blood levels were elevated.
"This prompted me to really look at myself and seek change for my own health. I never expected to come to the point I am today; it was literally life changing." Losing more than 100 pounds is an incredible achievement. Kithe said that he chose the Duke Diet and Fitness Center?s plan because he felt that it is the most medically sound solution for him.
"The four main components appealed to me. A personalized diet plan that fits me personally, medical advice tailored to me and my results, monitoring my behavior while educating me about my past, current and future behavior and how it directly effects me and a fitness routine that I could do and that would suit my life. I wanted to change myself and be healthy not just for a few months, but for life."
Additionally, with his new attitude and direction on lifestyle, Kithe managed to shed 60 of those pounds in six months. In September, Everyday Health unveiled the final three videos of Kithe Brewster?s web series, "60 Pounds in 6 Months." Is 185 pounds the final version of the new and svelte Kithe Brewster?
"When I was in college, I weighed 175 pounds, and I was happy with that. I have about 10 pounds to go to reach my goal. Throughout this whole process my sight has been set on losing and maintaining my weight; and I am very happy with the results. My clothing fits well. And, as a stylist, the tables are turning and now I am excited about dressing myself as well as the many clients on my roster."
