Okay, we get that juicing might not always be the best thing for you, especially if it mostly consists of all those sugary sweet fruits instead of blending down some good ol’ fashioned kale. There are times when it’s more beneficial both in body and mind (and hungry cravings) to just sit down and eat an apple rather than squeeze a whole bushel into juice. But with our New Year’s resolutions firmly implanted in our heads, our gym clothes laid out and that shiny new juicer sitting on the kitchen counter, it’s hard to decide where to draw the line. Besides, don’t you just feel thinner when you’re drinking your calories instead of eating actual food? Well the physicians and dieticians at Pritikin Longevity Center and Spa made out a cool infograph to explain just what goes into all those juices you’re drinking. Print it out and hang it up on the fridge next to the kids’ artwork and next time you’re planning to juice you’ll remember just what it is you’re putting into your body.
