Pre-Baselworld Preview of Raymond Weil Watches

As a self-proclaimed aficionada for all things shiny (with an extra affinity towards watches,) I am already giddy with excitement for the the upcoming Baselworld show set to commence April 25. Each spring, some 1,800 of the world’s most renowned luxury brands from the watch, jewelry and precious stone industries flock to the Swiss watchmaking mecca, Geneva, to display their newest collections. To hold us over until the big event next month, we are happy to say that we had the pleasure of previewing the newest offerings from luxury watch brand Raymond Weil who is set to present at the annual Swiss trade show in April.

Showcasing the brand's newest styles and updates, these stunning watches display exquisite Swiss craftsmanship. Bringing together precision, intricate design and reliability, the Raymond Weil watchmakers harness careful skills that have been handed down for centuries. One of the guiding principles of this Geneva-based brand is its focus on the future. Constantly striving to utilize the industry’s most innovative technology and coupling it with the company's sleek designs and quality craftsmanship, each season of watches is better than the last.

The stainless steel Freelance Lady Urban Black pictured above is both sleek and feminine. Constructed with automatic winding and a visible balance wheel, it's clearly not just the aesthetics of this stunner that have us transfixed (although the black diamond details certainly don’t hurt.) Priced at $2,995, this accessory would add a sophisticated shine to any outfit.

For a sportier, more adventurous timepiece, look no further than the Nabucco pictured below. Automatic winding plus visible balance and escape wheels keep this mechanical chronograph at the peak of both style and function. With a $5,450 price tag, this sleek model's black color scheme makes it a great everyday piece for the fashion-forward man.

Lastly, the Ladies Jasmine is your classic timepiece and accessory for a variety of both daytime and evening activities. With stainless steel and rose gold coating, this chic timepiece is priced at $1,595 for the 29mm version or $1,695 for 35mm version, and is a true vision of elegance and sophistication.
