Poker is a game with connotations of wealth, sophistication and glamour. The same can be said about a good watch—though that's not where the similarities end. Just like the intrinsic mechanics behind a timepiece; the logistics of poker are complex and difficult to master. Combining the beauty of both perplexities is Christophe Claret’s Poker Watch—the third and last edition to the brand’s gaming collection.

This truly unique timepiece is not only a treat for the eyes though, it also offers an interactive game of poker between two to three players. Modeled after the classic Texas Hold’em variation, players initiate the shuffling mode to receive their hole cards. Players can then activate the flop, turn and river with rounds of betting in between. A cathedral gong sounds with each card that presents itself. As with your typical 52 card deck, 32,768 hand combinations are possible for each player. The watch dial is expertly designed to allow the visibility of only one hand from each angle.

To top things off, the back of the dial features yet another game for keen gamblers—a fully functional roulette wheel. The development of this impressive gameplay function was so elaborate that two watchmakers were required to work on its construction full-time for over two years. Available in four different color combinations, its slick aesthetics are typical of the Christophe Claret style.

As any frequent player will know, luxury timepieces can be spotted at every major tournament or esteemed casino—the poker player’s love affair with luxury timepieces is almost historic. Christophe Claret’s limited edition poker watch reflects exactly this, and is guaranteed to stand out at the card table. There are few other fashion statements which capture the glitzy and adventurous spirit of Vegas quite so beautifully.
