Tom Ford Menswear Sees Tweed for Fall

In contrast to his upcoming women's collection that consists of bright colors and loud prints, the men’s ready-to-wear line by luxury designer Tom Ford focuses on natural hues and ensembles constructed from layers of matching fabrics. The result is a multitude of sophisticated looks that are meticulously constructed with an attention to detail.
If there is one thing that Tom Ford knows, it is how to properly design and fit a men’s suit. With exquisite tailoring and sleek, clean lines, these looks beautifully showcase the male form in a smart and dapper way, all the while maintaining a masculine appeal. The collection also features an abundance of Glen plaid and check suits. Instead of opting for pressed button-downs underneath the jackets, many of these three-piecers favor roll-neck sweaters, which adds a very scholarly charm to the ensemble.
Stepping away from the streamlined construct of the suits, the line also showcases a variety of Fair Isle cashmere sweaters paired with check trousers and casual loafers. Other thick knits contain a pop of mink lining while shaggy fox fur boots and coat collars are paired with slim trousers (and a great deal of confidence.)
The particular look pictured below is composed of a daringly chic tuxedo with a stunning textured jacket. The luscious fur overcoat that tops off the look will surely appeal to Ford's Russian clientele. With a black bow tie placed on the neckline and delicate detail on the glossy black shoes, this regal Tom Ford look is undoubtedly extravagant, yet still refined.
Other textured tuxedo jackets come in teal or burnt orange and are paired with waistcoats and elongated shoes for ultimate class. These beautifully intricate jackets provide spunk and style to what would have otherwise been an ordinary suit and tie combination.
