Say goodbye to your flip flops, sneakers and sandals, the weather agrees it’s finally winter! This means leather brogues, short boots and fancy flats. Plus this season designers did not leave men’s footwear out of the fashion mix; trends that were hitting the runways during fashion week are all over men’s designs for Fall 2013. So to make your feet fashion ready, we gathered the most stylish, on-trend shoes we could find—and who knows—some of these might even make it on your Christmas wish list.

You have to admit it—this boot looks pretty slick. A cross between dress and motorcycle styling, John Lobb’s William II Boot is a little rock-n-roll and gentlemen all mixed into one stellar shoe.  Made in England, the boot features a burnished leather cap toe on a leather sole. With a deep, dark, brown shade that almost looks black you can dress it with even more color options. Plus the combination of casual meets dress shoe makes it easy to dress up or down. John Lobb’s William II Boot is available at Barney’s New York and priced at $1,695.

Okay so maybe you’re not super anxious to put your sneakers away. We get it, they’re comfortable and you just want to live in those shoes—but aside from your jogging routine they shouldn’t have a permanent place on your feet. If you really need the feel of lace-ups give them an upgrade and wear the Treviso Brown shoes from Botticelli. They have laces you love and the detailing to make it look like you’re still rocking your sneakers, only they’re sleeker, richer and more fashionable. Botticelli Treviso Brown shoes are available online and priced at $525.

Sometimes you need to add a little badass into your boots and Frye pulls this off perfectly with their Americana Harness Limited-Edition Boot. To celebrate their 150th anniversary the iconic footwear company released these as part of their anniversary collection. With natural leather markings it makes it easy to wear and mold into your own custom piece. And those subtle stars and stripes on the back don’t hurt your awesome new look either.  Fry Americana Harness Limited Edition Boot is available at Nordstrom and priced at $750.

The steampunk look is starting to hit mainstream fashion with full force, and while we recommend you leave your goggles at home, this trend is too hot to pass up. The Isaac Tanker Boot has a deconstructed style, modeled after classic 1940’s work boots, and give you a rugged, edgy look even if the rest of your outfit is looking polished and prim. It’s youthful, fun and has just a little of that adventurous-too-cool-to-care look guys can’t seem to get enough of (and women love it too). Vintage Shoe Co. Isaac Tanker Boot is available online and priced at $349.

If you don’t own any crocodile or alligator loafers you’re missing out on one of the hottest most stylish looks for any wardrobe. It’s a luxury shoe staple. This season grab a pair of the Mezlan Calvino Alligator Loafers in black or brown (though we’re partial to the black), and make a fashion statement. Made in Spain, this shoe features clean lines and simple detailing which makes it a timeless piece in your closet. Mezlan Calvino Alligator Loafers are available at Nordstrom and priced at $1,095.

These Oliver Sweeney Monzuno Black boots are as clean, chic and stylish as they come. With subtle brogue punch detailing on simple boots, these shoes are a perfect way to show off your sense of glamour and class. Black abrazivato leather is complimented with a back zip and rubber sole, and finished with a hand stitch detail. The square toe and higher boot shaft make for a more fashion-forward option than most boots this season, plus Oliver Sweeney also has a collection of shoes and boots that can be tattooed by celebrity tattoo artist Henry Hate. And there’s really nothing cooler than that. Oliver Sweeney Monzuno Black is available online and priced at $510.

Tassels and fringe are so big right now; they’re hanging off everything from bags to jackets to jewelry, so it only seems fair that guys get in on the trend. Sure, tassel loafers may seem a bit old school, but if there was ever a time for a throwback, it’s now. Santoni’s Hammon Loafer is crafted in Italy and has tassels covering the top of the shoe. Personally we’re into the brown, but depending on your wardrobe you might want to go for a basic black. Santoni Hammon Loafer are available at Nordstrom and priced at $560.

While platform heels and flats are popular for women, they haven’t really taken off in men’s designs. Maybe it’s too close to a heel? Either way, leave it up to Prada to break barriers and design the Perforated Wingtip Blucher and give it a stacked rubber sole. Black spazzolato leather sits atop the platform base giving the shoe a certain mullet-style appeal—professional on the top and party on the bottom. Plus you’ll be a few inches taller. Score! Prada Perforated Wingtip Blucher is available at Barney’s New York and priced at $720.
