Kepler Motors Introduces Supercar MOTION

Posted: Dec. 18th, 2009

Supercars: The Motion, a brand new innovative supercar is set to make its public debut at the 10th Annual Dubai International Motor Show, going on now.

The Motion is brought to select consumers courtesy of Kepler Motors, by World Speed Record Holder Russ Wicks, who holds speed records on both land and sea. Russ Wicks founded Kepler Motors, located in Costa Mesa, California, on the success of his American Challenge projects. Kepler Motors focuses on developing advanced automotive technologies to create the world’s most exclusive supercars.

Combining the latest scientific technologies and automotive engineering with super sleek styling, the Motion redefines the typical supercar model. The Motion uses all-wheel drive Dual Powertrain Technology (DPT) which provides a combined 800 hp, while a 550 hpFord EcoBoost twin- turbo 3.5-liter V6 driving the rear wheels acting independently of a 250 hp electric motor driving the front wheels provides the superpower.

Of the new supercar, Wicks says, “We’re delighted to host the worldwide debut of the Kepler Motors MOTION at the Dubai International Motor Show. The region has a passion for ultra high performance, limited edition supercars, and presents the ideal platform to showcase the advanced technology and innovative features of the MOTION.”

The creators of the MOTION were hand-picked design engineers, aerodynamicists, product development, and manufacturing specialists, who utilized the latest active suspension, active aerodynamics, launch control and programmable track assistant system technologies. One of the more special features is the use of StopTech’s new Continuous Carbon Ceramic (C3) AeroRotors on all four wheels to ensure smooth, fade-free stopping power.

Carbon fiber composite materials are used for the monocoque chassis and body to create the Motion, which focuses on speed in a highly impact-resistant, lightweight two-seat design.

This very special vehicle is only to be made in a group of 50, and is hand assembled, with deliveries beginning in 2011.
