A prix-fixe menu is offered in three or four courses, in addition to a chef’s tasting menu. For those searching for an undoubtedly memorable experience, a seven-course tasting menu complete with personalized selections from a tableside sommelier is the apex of any anniversary or special meal for two. A printed menu featuring the names of your Maitre D’Penrose, Sommelier, Chef de Cuisine and Pastry Chef for the evening can be requested, alongside all the of the courses and wine pairings enjoyed throughout the evening.

A sampling of beautifully mastered menu items include a Hamchi Tuna Ceviche with Hibiscus Gelee and Compressed Cucumber paired with a 2009 Quatro Mani, Franciacorta Sparkling from Lombardy, Italy; Halibut slowly cooked in Black Olive oil with Thumbelina Carrots and Fingerling Potatoes paired with a 2009 Perrot-Minot, Pinor Noir, Fixin from Burgundy, France. For dessert save room for an Almond Pound Cake with Raspberry-Rhubarb Compote and Strawberry Sorbet, complete with an Inniskillin, Vidal Ice Wine from Niagara Falls, Canada. Once done with dinner, guests can all but muster the strength to return to their rooms for a blissful night’s slumber on the Broadmoor custom beds found in the rooms below.
