Déglon Meeting Knife Set: The Nesting Dolls of the Cutlery World

My knife drawer is a mess and I'm continually shocked when I manage to escape cutting myself every time I reach in for something. This Déglon Meeting Knife Set is brilliant in that the knives fit together like a nesting doll, keeping those sharp edges flat with the stainless steel block they are kept in. To take a knife out, all you do is press down near the tip of the blade and the handle will lift up. Designed by Mia Schmallenbach and produced by glon, the set of four includes a paring knife, utility knife, chef knife, and a slicer. When taken apart, the bigger knives feature a hollow look, which is pretty cool in its minimalism. It also won first prize in the 5th European Cutlery Design Awards.
