Give your grill a day off this Labor Day and join Chef Kris Morningstar for an all-day BBQ on the romantic garden patio of Terrine. Found on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, Terrine is offering an all-you-can-eat plate and a special menu that involves elevated eats like swordfish brochettes, pickle brine fried chicken, and heirloom tomatoes with cotija cheese. And if you’re craving potato salad, mac ‘n’ cheese, brisket and BBQ pork ribs, he’s got those too...and they will put your family recipes to shame. Did I mention his Sticky Toffee Cornbread?  Oh. My. God.

Chef Morningstar has previously won the GQ Magazine Dish of the Year award, an Esquire Magazine Best New Restaurant award, a Rising Star Chef award from Gayot, and was a James Beard Rising Star Chef semi-finalist. Also worthy of applause is wine director Francois Renaud’s curated list and mixologist Ryan Wainwright’s inspired beer and cocktail menu. Beat the end-of-summer heat with special bubbles, beers and bourbon cocktails, including the Kentucky Mule with ginger, lime and soda; the Brown Derby with grapefruit and honey; and the California Gold with Dale’s Pale Ale, lemon, honey and atomized Angostura Bitters. While you’re imbibing, don’t forget to raise a glass to Chef Morningstar and his fantastic Terrine team!

Terrine is open for dinner Monday-Thursday, and for brunch and dinner Friday-Sunday.
