At this year's Wedding & Portrait Photographer International (WPPI) Convention at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas at the Canon Booth (#401), Canon is debuting new equipment to help boost the quality and creativity of wedding photographs.

A wedding may only last one day, but the photographs provide a lifetime of memories. To that end, Canon has introduced new products and new applications for their range of products; to help both professional and amateur photographs get their creativity on.

The new products take Canon's image-capture technology to a new level, allowing photographers to make prints of any size from special printers and cameras that allow for both still and moving images.



New Canon EOS Digital SLR camera models capture both still and moving images, to provide both quality and versatility for the photographer. This line offers a range of options in models, allowing not only for details to be captured instantaneously, but also freedom to manipulate images at a later date.

The new 24-inch Canon imagePROGRAF iPF6300S large format printer provides wedding and portrait photographers with an affordable, 8-color option for printing high-quality images in a shorter amount of time than Canon's 12-color, imagePROGRAF line up. The new printer gives special details on everything from the bridal bouquet to monochromes and achieves spectacular shadow detail as well, using the new 8-Color LUCIA EX ink system. For longevity, the prints produced are scratch-resistant.



The Canon PIXMA Pro9500 Mark II Photo Printer is a superior color printer for both amateur and professional photographers, granting true black and white ability, thanks to ink in three shades of black and a 10-pigment color cartridge, allowing for gallery-quality prints.




Canon High Definition professional camcorders produce high quality images and are immensely portable. The range allows for everything from 3-D video to the ability to shoot in complete darkness. Some models also have additional inputs as well as external microphones.

In addition to the latest in photographic solutions, Canon also provides numerous programs for professional and amateur artists, from a Clean and Check service on equipment, to educational programs.
