Sony officially announced the release of their new QX Series "Lens-Style Cameras" that intends to redefine mobile photography. This clip-on camera gives smartphones the boost they've been searching for, allowing owners to take photos worthy of a full-sized digital camera. Sony basically packed all the usual camera inner workings within the lens, allowing you to use the lens the way you would a full-sized camera. You can shoot videos, snap photos, zoom, program settings, and play with auto-focus, all while syncing the DSC-QX100 to iOS and Android via Wi-Fi. While you can certainly attach the gadget to your phone, you can also use it by itself through the wireless connection — allowing you to stick the lens in tight places while checking the possible photo out on your iPhone's screen.
