V-MODA is already one of our favorite purveyors of luxury headphones, so it’s no surprise that we took notice when they announced their new custom 3D-printed shields. The Crossfade M-100 headphones are priced at a standard $270 before you make any customizations. After choosing the base color, shield aesthetic and design (with the option of uploading your own), the price can fall anywhere between $270 and upwards of $40,000. For instance, we chose white silver as our base color, added on a platinum shield with a 3D-studded design and topped it off with gold screws, amounting to $41,350. The options are pretty endless, even allowing you to monogram your unique creation. That said, feel free to copy us; we won't tell.
