Honolulu’s Ward Village is getting two new buildings called The Gateway Towers, which will bring 236 residences to the luxury coastal community. Designed by Richard Meier & Partners, the flagship towers are named Blade and Cylinder, and range in price from $1.5 million, one-bedroom homes to $20M penthouses.

Found on the coastal edge of the 60-acre Ward Village community, the towers will boast an asymmetrical design and will be separated by the four-acre Gateway Park. The 27-floor Cylinder Tower will be 330 feet tall and will feature 125 one- to six-bedroom homes, including 14 duplex and triplex villas and 15 penthouses. Most floors will boast 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and thanks to the structure’s curved design, the glass walls will have an almost IMAX effect.

With 34 floors, the 400-foot Blade Tower will offer 111 two- to five-bedroom residences (10 duplex and triplex villas, and 14 penthouses). Like the aforementioned building, ceiling heights in homes will clear 10 feet and offer impressive views and tons of natural light.

Both towers offer open floorplans with large kitchens, wet room-style bathrooms, walk-in closets, Bulthaup kitchen cabinets and Gaggenau appliances, Dornbracht fixtures, bespoke bronze accented vanities, custom designed lighting and Apaiser bathtubs, and over 50,000-square-feet of indoor/outdoor amenity space on the sixth and seventh floors.
